Pregnancy/Birth Support

Pregnancy/Birth Support
A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support to individuals before, during, and after childbirth.
Unlike midwives, who are healthcare professionals with medical training, doulas do not deliver babies or provide medical interventions. Instead, they offer continuous support to the birthing person and their partner, focusing on comfort, encouragement, and advocacy.
Doulas can assist in various birth settings, including hospitals, birthing centers, and homes, and their role is to enhance the overall childbirth experience and promote a positive, empowering birth.
What if I want support during pregnancy but don't want a doula at my birth?
Your birth space is truly sacred, and you have the power to decide who enters it. The unique advantage of doula support lies in its flexibility—it's tailored to your specific needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Prenatal education plays a vital role in preparation for birth, and that's where doulas shine. From booking prenatal visits to crafting a personalized birth plan and discussing the nuances of various birth choices, including feeding education, our support encompasses a wide spectrum.
We're committed to assisting you in preparing for the beautiful transition of your growing family in a way that suits you best.
